Can't Delete Reg Code

Please help guys, just downloaded and installed Reg Cod 2.1RC1 along with iMenu and Formulize. Applied all patches. Created form, created a test regcode all works great except now no one can register unless they put in a code.

I deleted the reg code I created, it shows deleted but when you click register the code submit form still comes up. I've deinstalled, updated system admin, etc and nothing works. How do I fix this? Your guidance is greatly appreciated.

Notice [PHP]: Constant _US_PASSWORD already defined in file modules/reg_codes/language/english/modinfo.php line 30
Notice [PHP]: Only variable references should be returned by reference in file class/xoopsform/form.php line 324

RE: Can't Delete Reg Code

Hi there,

Based on your description, it sounds like you just need to turn off the integration of the reg codes module with the registration process in your site. See, using reg codes requires your users to all have a valid registration code in order to register at your site. It's a way to basically "pre-approve" people and disallow public registrations.

The readme has more details on the intended usage patterns.

Anyway, to go back to the old way people registered, just replace register.php, edituser.php and userinfo.php in your XOOPS site, with the original versions of those files from the version of XOOPS that you are using. Regardless of whether you've uninstalled the reg codes module or not, those files would need to be reverted to the original versions before registrations on your site would work correctly.

Sorry for any confusion this caused. Does this clear up the issue for you?
