The first Formulize Data Challenge was a success!

Last night, we ran the first Formulize Real-Life Data Challenge, live, at the Centre for Social Innovation. Could we make a working online app in under an hour?

Yes! The challenge was event registration, and within minutes of opening up Claude Desktop and describing what we needed, the AI had suggested a design with four forms and multiple screens to meet our needs.

And a few minutes after that, we had a working system. And we could carry on tweaking and adjusting the configuration however we wanted, because everything the AI did was just configuration in Formulize which is completely transparent to humans and easy to adjust.

Right away, we easily added a “How did you hear about us?” question by ourselves.

In fact, it would be entirely possible to do everything by ourselves, without any AI help, because Formulize is designed to be fully configurable by anyone, even non-programmers. But the AI does make things a lot faster, with a pretty flat learning curve.

This challenge was a great example of the effectiveness of human-AI collaboration in a transparent, configuration-driven environment like Formulize. We will be doing it again!
